President Goodluck Jonathan has been urged to sign the anti-stigma bill into law. Director-General, National Agency for the Control of AIDS, John Idoko, said this in his message to commemorate the 2014 World AIDS Day with the theme, Close the Gap: No to stigma and discrimination.
He said the law will enhance the search for solution to the AIDS epidemic by 2030. Meanwhile, a medical researcher, Oni Idigbe has called for adequate sensitization of the people on the need to stop stigmatization against people living with HIV/AIDS.
