Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko has Defected to People’s Democratic Party

Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko has formally announced his defection from Labour Party to ruling People’s Democratic Party.
He was received by Vice President Namadi Sambo on behalf of President Goodluck Jonathan at a brief ceremony at the Presidential Villa.
Governor Mimiko was joined by members of his cabinet, LP lawmakers from the state in the National Assembly and 25 members of the state House of Assembly. He said his decision to join the PDP was taken in the overall interest of the people of Ondo and the country at large.
