FG approves Use of 495 Million Dollars to Boost Irrigation Nationwide

Federal Government has approved use of the 495 million dollars credit, it secured from International Development Association, to boost irrigation nationwide.
Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda said this after Federal Executive Council meeting, presided over by Vice-President Namadi Sambo. According to him, the facility is to augment what Federal Government is doing to improve irrigation.
The minister said the facility, to be managed by the Ministry of Water Resources, has four components.
