Theater practitioners have been urged to see production of stage plays like every kind of business that requires apt marketing to succeed. Speaking at a reception in his honor by British Council, for winning the Mevyn Stutter Spirit of the Fring Award, stage play director, Wole Oguntokun said Nigerians have a theatre culture that dates back to the 60s, but what is currently lacking is proper marketing and publicity. Mr Oguntokun’s Renegade Theatre Company also performed an excerpt from Tarzan Monologue, the world through the eyes of men.
