Federal Ministry of Agriculture has captured 150,000 rice
and maize farmers for 2014/2015 dry season farming in Adamawa State.
A Director of the ministry in the state, Wali Hamman said the effort is to actualize the national food security program.

Dr Hamman explained that farmers
from eight Local Government Areas in the state will benefit from the program.
He said the dry season farming program is part of government’s effort to
actualize the national food security under the Growth Enhancement Scheme.
