FG Set Up Committee to Review National Defence Policy

Defence Minister, Aliyu Gusau has inaugurated the Presidential Committee on Review of the Nigeria National Defence Policy.  Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the defense minister said the current National Defence Policy was promulgated in 2006.
The minister drew the attention of the members of the committee to the terms of reference in the convening order and some fundamental issues for their consideration. The presidential committee has 28 members with Mohammed Umar as its Chairman.
