President Goodluck Jonathan will today depart Lagos on a brief
pilgrimage to Israel.
His Special Adviser on Media, Reuben Abati said he
will visit Christian Holy sites during the pilgrimage.
The president
will join other Nigerian pilgrims in a prayer session for well-being and
progress of the country at an Inter-Denominational Service in Jerusalem
on Sunday. The president is expected back in Abuja on Monday. But
before leaving for Israel, he will participate in ground-breaking
ceremony for construction of Seme-Krake Joint Border Control Post this
morning.
