President Goodluck Jonathan has restated federal government’s
displeasure over the continued stigmatization of Nigerians by some
countries over Ebola.
He made the remark when the Foreign Ministers of
Germany and France visited him. The president said he expects that
Nigerians will no longer suffer discriminatory checks abroad; now that
the country has been certified Ebola-free by World Health Organisation.
He added that there is no justifiable basis for the stigmatization of
Nigerians since Ebola was rapidly contained and never attained epidemic
level in the country.
