FG to Introduce Toll on Nigeria’s Borders with Neighbouring Countries

Federal Government has concluded plans to introduce toll on Nigeria’s borders with neighbouring African countries.
Chairman, Concessioning and Tolling Committee, Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, Mohammed Gusau, said this at the Idiroko border when members of the committee visited for on-the-spot assessment.
Mr Gusau said government will soon introduce International Vehicle Transit charge at the nation’s border posts adding that the revenue earned will be used in maintaining the roads.
