Danny Welbeck Scored his First Professional hat-trick

Danny Welbeck scored his first professional hat-trick as 10-man Arsenal swept aside Galatasaray in the Champions League.  Alexis Sanchez then curled home before Welbeck clipped in his third. 
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo missed and scored a penalty before Real Madrid came from behind to beat Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the Champions League.

Similarly, Liverpool's hopes of making the Champions League knockout stages were dented as they succumbed to a 1-0 Group B defeat at Basel.
